I attended Elggjam07 in Brighton yesterday. It was a success, thank you all that arranged it! I took some videos on my small digital camera, here is a video from outside my hotel window.

<![CDATA[I try to document what I am doing by videoblogging at least once a week. It is talking head, me talking to my webcam. Here is the last episode, my speaking in Icelandic about politics in Iceland and about the future of broadcast TV

<![CDATA[I wish it were easier to paste in embedded code in Elgg blogs. I find it impossible to blog now without using all kind of embedded stuff. Now I was trying pageflakes, there you can make one page for all your gadget and then you can paste them to your webpage or blog. But I can not paste anything to elgg except videos in youtube format.

Most other blog systems that I use allow me to paste in code. See example of how I pasted in pageflake ipod in my blog www.samkoma.net/spanish.

It is easy to paste in videos in Elgg. But now I want to paste in all kind of stuff, not only videos.]]>

Here are webcasting tutorials . I am now trying to broadcast live via operator11. Last semester I made many tutorials in Camtasia and Camstudio.

I like Camstudio because it is open source.

But now I am trying out some of the emerging webTV where you can broadcast live. I made one 5 min. broadcast in Operator11 about the island Vigur

It is easy to embed the code into your blog, I embedded it to my Icelandic blog here is the link but unfortunately elgg is not allowing me to embed such code. I found that a big disadvantage of elgg because I believe we are now moving into more and more netbased application we want to embed in our blogs and websites.
