My first try at Google sketchUp, originally uploaded by Salvor.

I downloaded SketchUp (free) at http://sketchup.google.com

and was tried to draw Icelandic type sod houses but could not find out how to draw the roof. But it was easy to get models from others of all kind of objects.

This google tool could be very useful in education. Also it is another tool where users contribute with their own models thus adding value to tool.

This is what I could design after 30 minutes playing with google sketchup. I did not bother to read the manual. I hope my next design will be more sophistated.
