Google Sketchup 5, originally uploaded by Salvor.

I am fascinated by the idea of using old ship containers to make modern housing. I tried to design my own container house in Google Sketchup.

I started by loading the containers (20 ft and 40 ft.) from Google 3d warehouse and copied them and lined them up. I have not mastered how to turn them around. I also tried to color part of the outside walls and add doors and windows (also from 3d warehouse)and fence. The people and trees are also from the warehouse. I like using other people's component in my design. We live in the remix era.
