<![CDATA[In the e-Learn magazine there is an exellent article E-learning 2.0 By Stephen Downes http://elearnmag.org/subpage.cfm?section=articles&article=29

Stephen mentions ELGG in the article:
"It also begins to look like a personal portfolio tool [18]. The idea here is that students will have their own personal place to create and showcase their own work. Some e-portfolio applications, such as ELGG, have already been created. IMS Global as put together an e-portfolio specification [19]. “The portfolio can provide an opportunity to demonstrate one’s ability to collect, organize, interpret and reflect on documents and sources of information. It is also a tool for continuing professional development, encouraging individuals to take responsibility for and demonstrate the results of their own learning” [20]. ”

Here are the flickr photos from the conference

I asked all of those who had photos to put them up at flickr.com and tag them with "fjarkennsla". This is a nice way to teach people how useful social bookmarks/ folksonomeries can be.

On October 8th I gave presentation at a educational research seminar at our university. My presentation was about open source.
Here are my slides:

Also preparing contribution to Nordiske stemmer (on-line conference) and Fum conference in November and international conference in Copenhagen in December. I am on sabbatical this semister.]]>
